DooDa is a Korean music duo that creates original K-pop inspired by the rich traditions of Korean music. The group consists of Doodoo, a composer, rapper, and haegeum player, and Dada, a traditional Korean vocalist (soriggun) and percussionist. Their name, DooDa, is a combination of their stage names.
Doodoo and Dada have been friends since their teenage years. They first performed together in October 2015, when Doodoo joined Dada's university graduation recital. Although they had collaborated before, DooDa officially began its journey as a duo nearly ten years later, in 2024, after being invited to perform at the 123 Seollal Festival in Lille, France.
In their first year, DooDa appeared at the festival as an invited emerging act. Their performance received an enthusiastic response, leading to a return invitation in 2025 as one of the festival's headliners. Since then, the duo has been invited to perform in various cities across France. In February 2026, DooDa completed a French tour with invited performances in Lyon, Saint-Étienne, Clermont-Ferrand, Bordeaux, Nantes, and other cities.
DooDa's vision is to return to France each year for new tours while expanding its international presence throughout Europe and, in the future, to Africa and the Americas. Through their music, they seek to introduce the beauty of Korean traditional music to global audiences in a fresh, contemporary way.
